This antenna was built in 1933 and was used until 1979 when this transmitter was moved to the Monte Ceneri Cima di Dentro location, about 6 km to the east.
The antenna system was composed by two identical towers about 190 m apart holding a center-fed wire in-between.
The East tower was dismantled right after moving the transmitter; the West tower still remains. Its base insulators have been shorted, grounding the whole structure that is now used as stand for VHF/UHF broadcast antennas (December 2016).
